About our Client

Our client is an industry leader in supplying and servicing energy-efficient products, including dock seals and shelters, dock levelers, air curtains, high-speed doors, HVLS fans, and various other equipment. They are looking for an Overhead Door Service Technician to join their team. The Service Technician will be responsible for complete installation, field service, preventive maintenance and repair of the loading dock, overhead door, and commercial door equipment.

Salary starts at 90 K PLUS and full benefits

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs of loading docks, overhead doors, and commercial door systems.
• Collaborate with coordinators to manage parts needs, job scheduling, and receive technical support, while actively developing your skills within the organization.
• Ensure your service truck is clean, organized, and well-stocked with essential parts.
• Monitor inventory levels and report when restocking is required.
• Accurately complete required forms and preventive maintenance checklists in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety protocols and demonstrate strong product knowledge during service tasks.
• Provide guidance and on-site training to apprentices when assigned.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in the overhead dock and door industry is required.
• Strong proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Solid mechanical aptitude is essential.
• Basic electrical knowledge is considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills for completing daily tasks and reports.
• Must stay up to date with all required training and compliance standards as set by NDS and its clients.
