Work Type: Hybrid (3 days a week in office)
Compensation: between $55,000 - 80,000 depending on experience

Our client, a dynamic and creative design services agency based in Toronto, is looking to add a New Business Development Coordinator to their team.  As a New Business Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in driving new business activities, supporting lead generation efforts, and managing client outreach. You will work closely with internal teams, leveraging HubSpot, marketing automation, and sales sequencing to nurture and convert inbound leads. This role requires a strong communicator who enjoys engaging with clients, managing multiple projects, and supporting business growth initiatives.  Interested?

The ideal candidate has experience:
  • Working within an agency or agency-adjacent environment in a B2B market focused on Retail and/or CPG local clients.
  • Strong networking skills, experience with inbound and outbound marketing, lead generation and sales support.
  • Preparation of new business materials and presentations, and general administration.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead administration for new business activities
  • Client engagement. 
  • Assist in arranging new business presentations and assist in follow-up
  • Curate conferences and both attend and assist in preparation and follow-up from these events
  • Provide sales and sales support functions via face-to-face meetings, video conferences and telephone calls using advanced verbal and written skills
  • Book meetings that promote new business, including creation and presentation of content tailored to each unique client
  • Manage daily and weekly new business status calls, updating on-time reports and ensuring task completion.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating events/tradeshows and new business events in person (typically GTA).
  • Identify and qualify potential leads through targeted outreach including sequencing, and also direct relationship building.

Must Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales coordination or marketing, managing client relationships
  • Experince in an agency, B2B or similar environment preferred
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and experience with lead nurturing and drip campaigns
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and in-person) to engage clients professionally
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • A proven record of constant learning
  • Advanced exposure with drip campaigns
  • Commitment to Hybrid work policy - (3 days in-office per week, and fully in-office for the first month during onboarding)
  • Ability to travel and attend industry events as needed.
