Our Client is a registered non-profit located in Ottawa, dedicated to developing standards, assessment programs, and other methodologies to support health and social service providers worldwide, with their mission to save and improve lives. Well-established in Ottawa, our client marries healthcare, advocacy, and education to the professional community globally. Boasting a highly engaged workforce and a fantastic hybrid environment, our client needs help in their marketing department. They are currently seeking a strong and experienced Marketing & Social Media Administrator, who can help their team in both English & French to help with a 4-6 month contract.

As the Bilingual Marketing Administrator, we are looking for someone to support the Marketing department and play an essential role in the day-to-day operations and project coordination within the team. This role is for an administrator with creativity and passion for social media. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will help schedule and coordinate meetings, put together correspondence for the team, and help maintain and organize new marketing initiatives. You will be expected to help coordinate tasks for the internal team, while liaising with external vendors to ensure timely delivery. You will be the glue that holds the timelines and deadlines for the team to ensure successful task completion. While you will not have to create content for this role, your English & French skills will be called to task to help with some editing and minor copywriting for social media or the website. Your creative flare will bring value to the creation of marketing collateral. This role will require you to maintain your pulse on the social channels and schedule content or monitor engagement. The Marketing Administrator will be able to review data bring relevant metrics information to the marketing team and make recommendations if needed.

The Ideal Candidate will be a strong communicator in English & French and be able to review marketing content in both languages. You will bring post-secondary education in marketing, business, or office administration and bring 2+ years of experience working within a marketing team or other administrative role. Your strong time management and organizational skills will be critical to your success and ability to adapt, and amazing communication skills – oral & written – in both English & French will be called upon to work with clients in both languages. We are looking for someone who is computer savvy throughout the MS Office and is familiar with marketing tools and platforms. A basic understanding of social media, digital marketing, and SEO is a huge benefit, but your ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously is extremely important. Any experience with marketing analytics, SEO principles, or reporting tools would be considered an asset. We are looking for a proven problem-solver, who thrives working in a busy team. Past experience administering and maintaining content will be needed and this is a fantastic opportunity to continue to build your administrative experience. We are looking for someone who can parachute in and learn quickly and demonstrate their willingness to learn and develop.
