About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a professional Manager, US Corporate Tax at least 5 years background working in with US tax functions in a corporation or public accounting company.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee US federal and state corporate income tax returns
  • Oversee US tax accounting workbooks
  • Execute estimates, extensions, cash tax projections, and initiatives
  • Manage tax work papers and information data inquiries
  • Manage and review compliance projects and submit them to the director accurately and in a timely manner
  • Oversee and review tax audits
  • Work with Internal Revenue Service and state tax high-level management
  • Follow tax due diligence in reference to US-based acquisitions
  • Provide support for the integration of US acquisitions
  • Collaborate with team to identify relevant US corporate structure
  • Proactively research US corporate tax trends
  • Participate in US corporate tax projects as required

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of background working in with US tax functions in a corporation or public accounting company
  • Knowledge of US tax preparation software (OneSource)
  • Detail-oriented, organized and punctual
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, or specialization in tax
  • Strong understanding of U.S. tax accounting principles and the U.S. tax system
  • Related designation or nearing completion of designation requirements (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA) (ideal)
  • Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
  • Good team player
  • Advanced knowledge n Microsoft Office- Outlook, Word, and Excel and Great Plains
