Our client is seeking a Manager, Security Operations to oversee the day-to-day performance of their Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring the delivery of timely, high-quality support to both clients and internal stakeholders. This role blends leadership with hands-on involvement, requiring someone who can effectively manage team workflows, oversee client communications, and support technical operations. As a central point of coordination, the Manager will drive operational efficiency, foster strong team performance, and ensure systems, processes, and service standards are consistently maintained.


Key Responsibilities:S
OC Operations & Service Delivery
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring efficient handling of client communications and service requests
  • Provide timely, professional support via phone and email, taking ownership of inquiries through to resolution or escalation
  • Coordinate team workflows, prioritize tasks, and support team members to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Act as a hands-on leader, contributing directly to SOC operations and technical support as needed

Technical Support & System Management
  • Deliver technical support to internal teams and external clients, resolving issues efficiently and effectively
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose system and service-related issues
  • Escalate system or service concerns to appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Perform system updates, downloads, and configurations as required
  • Utilize system tools (e.g., Job BuilderMost to improve workflows and operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data across internal and external systems

Team Leadership & Development
  • Train, coach, and mentor SOC team members to drive performance and service excellence
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Support team coordination and ensure alignment with operational goals

Process Improvement & Documentation
  • Create and maintain Monitoring and Maintenance Agreements and related documentation
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of SOC processes, procedures, and service standards

Ideal Candidate
  • 5+ years of experience in a SOC, telecommunications, security, or related environment
  • Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to manage complex client interactions professionally
  • Hands-on technical aptitude, with experience troubleshooting systems and working across multiple platforms
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and the ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
  • Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and operational excellence
  • Physically capable and dependable, with flexibility to support operational needs as required
