About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a professional Manager, Project Accounting with experience in a similar role and/or accounting and tax experience in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Record financial records and execute monthly accounting close procedures
• Manage full cycle of accounts payable including: posting payable entries, cheque issuance, and any vendor related matters (inquiries and reconciliations)
• Organize monthly progress billing invoices and prepare financial statements
• Analyze budget updates and edit financial models
• Perform daily transactions for all projects (wires, loan requests, etc).
• Assist senior executives regarding financial analysis or any related important information
• Manage cash flow and organize tax filings
• Prepare compliance filings (HST, Corporate Tax, etc).
• Support accountants to create year-end financials
• Support with obtaining land and construction loans
  
• Manage monthly investor reports and approval sheets
• Participate in monthly development plan

Qualifications

• CPA, CGA or CPA, CMA or actively enrolled in the CPA program (midway through or nearing completion) (ideal)
• Post-secondary education with a specialty in Accounting or Business Administration
• Background working in a similar role and/or accounting and tax experience in a corporate environment
• Detail oriented, professional and organized
