Job Description
About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a professional Manager, Financial Reporting with at least 5 years background in full cycle accounting.
Responsibilities
- Oversee full cycle accounting and financial statement procedures
- Oversee management documents
- Manage bookkeeping for multiple entities, organizing journal entries and monthly reconciliations
- Complete working papers to support month end, quarter end and year end procedures
- Contribute ideas in quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting meetings
- Support in special projects and perform new activities as required
Qualifications
- CPA designation
- At least 5 years background working in full cycle accounting role
- Proficient knowledge of general accounting principles
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Detail oriented, organized and professional
- Ability to work as both a team player and independent worker
- Identify discrepancies and contribute strategic ideas for better work efficiency
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office products
- Background working with SAGE Intacct software (asset)
