About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a professional Corporate Reporting, Manager for an 18M Contract.
Responsibilities
- Offer guidance and support to senior accountants
- Approve balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations
- Manage internal monthly reporting process
- Manage the preparation of financial statements
- Participate in the process of corporate financial and management documentation
- Provide technical accounting advisory offerings as required
- Track accounting matters and help execute appropriate resolutions if needed
- Understand updated accounting standards
- Analyze financial reports for month-end analysis
- Assist with the annual audit process - addressing audit inquiries, management of documents, and testing internal controls
- Organize and manage journal entries
- Suggest system and process improvements
- Follow proper internal controls
- Collaborate with senior-level management on any additional tasks
Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Commerce (or relevant field) and CPA certified
- Strong background working in relevant leadership roles ideally in Big 4 firms.
- Proficient knowledge of IFRS technical accounting, US GAAP, and financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Strong knowledge using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
