About Our Client
Our client, a White Rock-based medical clinic, is currently looking for a Medical Office Assistant to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. The shift timings are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. If you have previous experience as a Medical Office Assistant and you are looking for an exciting new opportunity, then we want to hear from you! Apply today!

Pay Rate - $25 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Providing desk reception such as responding to phone inquiries and scheduling
  • Ordering supplies and food for families and internal staff meeting
  • Completing data entry, filing, photocopying, client charts and transcribing patient notes
  • Providing MSP billing information
  • Escorting clients to the appropriate rooms
  • Cleaning and sanitizing small clinical instruments according to health standards
  • Performing other tasks as required

Qualifications

  • At least 2 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Must have experience with Jane software
  • Experience in the clinical setting is a must
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
