POSITION
: MAINTENANCE PLANNER - PHSA

JOB TYPE: Contract Full-time

STARTING WAGE: $32.35/hr

WORKING HOURS: 9 am to 5 pm

START DATE: ASAP

LOCATION: BC Children's and Women's Hospital and Health Centre - 4500 Oak St, Vancouver, BC V6H 3N1

Responsibilities

  • Organizing preventative maintenance work orders from Hospital users and Maintenance staff
  • Organizing data into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document hours, materials, costs and relevant information submitted by the maintenance staff
  • Participating in the creation of daily / weekly / and monthly work plans with all Trade Supervisors
  • Assisting in the development, production and updating of reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and communicate revised
  • Updating and manipulating data to produce the appropriate reports, charts, schedules
  • Confirming and updating new and modified equipment installation and/ or repair work done by FMO staff
  • Reviewing all items covered by the preventative maintenance systems to ensure if the items are consistent with safe engineering practices
  • Ensuring that the CMMS is regularly updated and current by way of updating modules, tasks, schedules, etc.
  • Performing other related duties as required

Requirements

  • Graduation in construction planning or building technology from a recognized institution is a must
  • Relevant experience of 3 years, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience
  • Ability to communicate efficiently both in a verbal and written manner
  • Interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to perform the job's requirements is required
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
  • Ability to use relevant machinery
