Our client, a leading player in the transportation industry, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This is a permanent role in Woodbridge, on a day shift from 5AM - 1PM.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of transportation services. You'll be responsible for coordinating and managing transportation schedules, communicating with drivers, and clients, and providing excellent service to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule transportation routes and driver assignments.
• Monitor and track vehicle locations to ensure timely deliveries.
• Communicate with drivers to provide route instructions and updates.
• Resolve any issues or delays that arise during transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and vehicle status.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dispatch or transportation coordination role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in TMS systems, Tableau, Samsara, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
• Forklift Certification or experience required
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
