The Learning & Development Specialist is accountable for the design, development, and delivery of training programs related to Life Insurance products, including their sales, servicing, and administration. This role involves facilitating both virtual and in-person training sessions with brokers and managing partners, while also providing mentorship and support during the onboarding process and throughout their tenure with the company. The specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing broker expertise, relationship management skills, and client service capabilities.
Ability to inspire and motivate brokers to engage fully in training and development activities.
Awareness of and sensitivity to the diverse backgrounds and experiences of brokers.
Ability to design effective training programs and materials tailored to diverse learning styles.
Competence in leading engaging training sessions that foster participation and knowledge retention.
Familiarity with various e-learning platforms and technology used for virtual training delivery, such as Canva, Biteable, Speechify, Synthesia, and/or Absorb, etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a licensed capacity, either as a Life Broker or in a wholesaler role.
Experience in adult learning or a related background is considered an asset.
Proven experience in training development and facilitation is preferred.
In-depth understanding of Life Insurance products, their features, benefits, and regulatory requirements.
