Job Description

Our client in the Legal Industry is looking for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support their dynamic & collaborative practice.

Responsibilities
  • Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence
  • Manage case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and organized
  • Stakeholder management with regard to internal staff, court officials, and external clients
  • Calendar management, along with meeting and project coordination
  • Assist in preparing legal materials and documents for trial
  • General administration for internal databases and electronic filing systems, ensuring data accuracy and easy retrieval
  • Conduct conflict of interest checks
  • Stay up to date with laws, regulations, and court rules relevant to our client's practice areas
  • Providing backup support when other legal assistants are absent or assistants who require additional support due to upcoming deadlines
  • Conduct research to support lawyers' case strategies and arguments
  • Ad hoc duties and projects as required

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in litigation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to work collaboratively within a dynamic team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
