The role of the Litigation Administrator will work specifically within the Insurance Defence team and help organize workflow between lawyers and paralegals. You will help prepare legal documents and correspondence with minimal supervision and act as the liaison between the client and the lawyer. Strong calendar management and a proven ability to manage travel and complex scheduling are needed. We are looking for an administrator who can stay one step ahead of the legal team, with briefing materials and strong file management. Leveraging your strong attention to detail, you will monitor the billing process and work with the client to troubleshoot any discrepancies. You will help create Motion Records, Factums, Application Records, and standard pleading and briefs. Your past experience with case management to maintain timely deliverables is needed. Strong client relationship management is expected to schedule meetings, coordinate hearings & depositions, and prepare required documentation. Supporting the lawyers with research and organizing relevant data and information will be needed.



The Ideal Candidate will bring a post-secondary education as a Legal Administrator or Office Administrator and combine it with a minimum of 1+ years of experience working in litigation, specifically insurance defence litigation. You are someone who can manage a file autonomously and collaborate with clients and internal parties as needed. Your oral and written communication skills are stellar, and you will be able to work with clients seamlessly via phone and email correspondence. Strong computer proficiency in MS Office is expected. This opportunity is ideal for a high-performing and high-achieving professional. We are looking for an amazing multi-tasker who doesn’t shy away from challenges or a fast pace. You will demonstrate how you work well within a team environment and contribute to the corporate fabric but also take your directions and run with them. Your proven ability to deliver an outstanding client experience to their clients is going to be required. The key success criteria for this role are going to be strong time management, organizational skills, and proven ability to be part of a larger organization while also working independently.
