The role of the Bilingual Litigation Administrator is an exciting opportunity for you to join the Advocacy group and assist the team in all aspects of commercial litigation. With the utmost confidentiality, the Legal Administrator will embrace the role of organizing and managing workflow throughout the group. Supporting the lawyers, you will prepare & transcribe legal documents and correspondence, maintain the day-to-day schedules & travel arrangements, and act as the liaison between the internal staff and clients. The Legal Administrator will prepare briefing materials, litigation documents –Books of Authorities, and a Compendium of Arguments. You will be expected to assist the lawyers in tracking billings answering any billing inquiries and creating expense reports. The team is looking for a research guru who loves administrative duties and can ensure court documents are filed on time & compliant.

The Ideal Candidate will bring a post-secondary education as a Legal Administrator or Office Administrator and combine it with a minimum of 1+ years of experience within a legal environment. We are looking for someone who understands the commercial litigation process and is looking to continue their career in that field of law. Your communication skills in English & French are stellar and you will be able to work with clients seamlessly in both languages. Strong computer proficiency in MS Office is expected. This opportunity is ideal for a high-performing and high-achieving professional. We are looking for an amazing multi-tasker who doesn’t shy away from challenges or a fast pace. You will demonstrate how you work well within a team environment and contribute to the corporate fabric but also take your directions and run with them. Your proven ability to deliver an outstanding client experience to their clients is going to be required. The key success criteria for this role are going to be strong time management, organizational skills, and proven ability to be part of a larger organization while also working independently.
