About Our Client
Our Client is a prominent law firm committed to delivering comprehensive business, litigation, and dispute resolution services to clients across Canada and internationally. They are currently looking for a skilled Legal Administrative Assistant with a strong educational background and proven work experience to join our Business Law practice. The ideal candidate should excel at working independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
Salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000. We also offer a variety of benefits

Responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of legal documents, filing systems, and administrative practices.
- Draft and transcribe legal documents and general correspondence with precision.
- Coordinate client meetings and ensure calendars are consistently up to date.
- Manage files effectively, including organizing documents, maintaining binders, and ensuring accurate filing.
- Maintain an active bring-forward system to track deadlines and tasks.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of both open and closed files as needed.
- Prepare and follow up on monthly and quarterly billing statements in a timely manner.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the practice.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program or equivalent relevant experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; experience with Elite 3E is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality with sensitive client information.
