About Our Client
Our Client is a prominent law firm committed to delivering comprehensive business, litigation, and dispute resolution services to clients across Canada and internationally. They are currently seeking an ICBC Insurance Defence Legal Administrative Assistant with solid work experience and educational background to join our litigation practice. This role will be supporting a Partner and Paralegal
Salary ranging from $55,000 to $70,000. We also offer a variety of benefits

Responsibilities
- Draft and transcribe legal documents and general correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate and schedule mediations, discoveries, trials, and client meetings.
- Manage files, including organizing documents, updating binders, and ensuring proper filing.
- Maintain an active bring-forward system to track deadlines and ensure timely task completion.
- Handle the organization and maintenance of both open and closed files as required.
- Prepare and follow up on monthly billing statements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the team.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program or equivalent relevant experience.
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA). Prior experience with ICBC files is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; familiarity with Elite 3E is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines in a high-volume practice.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Thorough understanding of litigation legal procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality with sensitive client information.
