Location:
3 days / week on site, 2 days / week virtual
Salary Range: Depending on experience, $90 - 130k annualized

Our client, a Canadian professional services organization located in the heart of Toronto, is hiring a Learning Content Advisor for a 6-month contract. The Advisor must have a CPA designation and an understanding of learning and development. In this role, the Advisor will not be creating courses, rather they will work with the internal course design team to identify new trends and opportunities within the existing course catalogue, and assist with ideas to engage the target markets with new and exciting content.

Responsibilities:

The Content Advisor will work with the Product Strategy and Learning and Development teams. They will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Product and L&D senior leaders to define gaps and opportunities across accounting, tax, finance, ethics, leadership, AI, and other emerging areas.
  • Interact with SMEs within a variety of industries to evaluate the potential for new content that will be engaging and relevant to the market
  • Analyze the existing course development catalogue.
  • Seek out potential SMEs able to support high quality content development.
  • Provide guidance on messaging strategies that target content toward specific industries or groups.
  • Work with stakeholders to support go-to--market strategies launch planning, and other learner engagement initiatives.


Qualifications:

The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

  • Demonstrated experience in program development and/ or learning & development
  • CPA designation along with three or more years of post0certification experience
  • Proven success developing, reviewing, or curating professional development content
  • Ability to identify new trends
  • Existing network of SMEs who can assist with creating engaging content that will entice CPAs to enroll in new learning.
  • Expert ability to analyze and uncover market opportunities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to successfully communicate to stakeholders and influence decision making
  • University degree in learning, education, finance or a related field
