About Our Client

Our client, a well-established company in the Security Solutions and Specialty Hardware industry, is looking to hire a dynamic Key Account Manager (KAM) to join their sales team. This position is ideal for someone who is an organized, self-starter with Inside Sales experience. The position offers a comfortable base plus bonus and commission. The KAM will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships and providing an exceptional client experience through specific territories to grow the company's market share.


As part of the Sales team, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to:
  • Develop and maintain clients through a specific territory
  • Execute a sales strategy plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company’s customer base
  • Drive new business and revenue
  • Manage an existing book of business and conduct B2B sales activities to bring in net new business across a regional territory
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and provide exceptional customer service
  • Drive company success by building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients and by achieving specific KPI’s
  • Be willing to travel within the wider GTA network
  • Enter and maintain accurate records of sales activities in company CRM
  • Follow up on outstanding proposals and new proposals
  • Effective time management skills as this is a hybrid in-office/ remote working position


The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
  • Strong sales and customer service experience
  • Inside Sales experience
  • Well-developed negotiation skills
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Experience using a CRM system to input and analyze sales data
  • Have a high-energy, hunter-type mentality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with a “can-do”attitude
  • Experience in Security Solutions or the Specialist Hardware industry is an asset
