About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a professional Junior Accountant with a background in business or finance education and has past customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage bank reconciliations and monthly GL account reconciliations
- Assist with accounting functions including month end close and deliverables
- Oversee journal entries, prepaid/amortization entries, and accruals (e.g.; interest, loan costs, waterfall, management fees etc.)
- Record cash transactions, bank fees, internal transfers, and vendor payments
- Collaborate with Senior Accountants, Managers and Directors regarding auditors' inquiries
- Initiate wires for approval by senior management
- Address audit requests and post journal entries for newly acquired properties
- Support special projects and extra duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA designation (ideal)
- Background working with Microsoft Dynamics D365 (ideal)
- Strong skills with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with technical accounting principles
- Past customer service background (ideal)
