About our Client:

This global investment manager located in downtown Toronto is looking for an Intermediate Software Developer for a full-time permanent position. This role comes with an amazing bonus structure along with great benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new applications using the Microsoft Azure, C#, and industry-specific technologies
• Maintain and support changes to existing applications and processes
• In collaboration with Project Managers and Business Analysts, review business requirements and put together technical requirements, designs, and estimates
• Implement automation tools and enterprise-level APIs to advance application features
• Work closely with UI developers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and APIs
• Troubleshoot and assist in testing efforts during project testing phases
• Provide escalated support of production processes. Support during off hours may be required
• Maintenance and creation of data integration processes with internal and third-party data sources

Requirements:

• Architecture design experience with both on-premises and cloud solutions, in particular, Microsoft Azure
• Experience with the management of DevOps pipelines and source repositories
• Proven ability to work effectively with teams
• Detail and results-oriented, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Able to thrive independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in change management tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence
• Experience integrating and customizing third-party system components and services• Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma in a technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of database and data integration development with SQL, Microsoft SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent platforms
• 3+ years in building, supporting, and consuming cloud-hosted REST APIs, ideally with C# and Azure Functions
• Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform development experience is an asset
• Salesforce/APEX/Aura development experience is an asset
• Experience with PowerShell scripting is an asset
• Experience with client portal web development, OAuth, and mobile delivery is an asset
• Experience working in the financial industry is an asset
