Compensation: $21-25/hr


Our Client, a fast-paced, educational company focused on higher-ed, is seeking a Hunter to join them on contract in a full-time Sales Representative position. This role starts in Mid to late January. The ideal candidate enjoys consultative phone-based sales. This is an in-office role in the Yonge and Eglinton area with full-time hours Monday through Friday. This position is supporting a major project for an event taking place in mid-April.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a high volume of outbound B2B sales calls
  • Enter and manage all sales activity in Salesforce, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
  • Cross-check database information to ensure contact details are current and accurate.
  • Confidently discuss solutions and prices with decision-makers
  • Schedule appointments using tools like Calendly, ensuring seamless communication and follow-up.
  • Build relationships, book meetings, and close deals while achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Experience conducting high-volume B2B phone-based sales
  • Highly articulate with a consultative approach.
  • Experience calling leaders and decision-makers, ideally selling advertising and/ or access to tradeshows
  • Experience calling higher education or similar professional services sectors (law firms, accountants, medical services).
  • Track record of exceeding targets, including metrics for dials, connects, appointment setting, and closing deals.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, and experience using virtual calendar apps like Calendly.
  • Capable of working independently while contributing to a small, fast-paced team.
  • Able to call clients across Pacific and Eastern Time Zones during standard working hours.
