We have an immediate opening for an Inside Sales Representative to be part of the growth.
As the Sales Associate, you will be expected to support their clients by being responsible for any inquiries, helping to troubleshoot problems, processing sales requests, and generating pricing quotes for clients. As someone who is enthusiastic and eager to help grow the business, the Sales Rep will seek out new business opportunities for cross or up-sell of products or services to meet the clients needs. You will work very closely with staff across the organization to see the sales cycles from start to finish by building strong and effective customer relationships. You will be expected to assist clients by understanding their requirements and making recommendations for solutions. You will help prepare sales quotes and follow up with customers to confirm interest and sales. You will prepare the sales orders and trigger the project planning to ensure materials requirements are met and timelines are adhered to. The Sales Associate will act as the first line of contact to facilitate any changes, customization, or problem resolution while communicating any project delays or anticipated issues. Working with the sales administrator and the accounting, you will support the client through the billings and credit processes. As an eager Sales Associate, you will see opportunities for cross-sell, or service potential following installation. This role will require you to collaborate with project managers, the production team, and the installers to ensure specifications are understood and communication is maintained with the client. You will prepare customer records and participate in the sales planning process.
We are looking for an ideal candidate, who loves to work in sales, and feels like working with clients and customers is their calling. You will have at least 3 years working in a sales environment, ideally within a hardware or construction environment. You will be able to learn the nuances of the products quickly because you are coming from a retail environment, such as Home Depot, or another manufacturer. You will understand the project planning behind the sales cycle and be able to nurture the client relationship from initial request through to installation completion. Your customer service skills will be top notch and your communication skills exceptional to work with clients in person and over the phone. You are a proven negotiator with a strong appreciation of cost and budget controls. Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are crucial. We are looking for someone who wants to be on-site, and welcomes being part of the greater team but knows how to drive themselves personally to reach individual goals. You will bring your attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and proven time management to this opportunity.
