About Our Client:

This North American IT consulting company is looking for a full time permanent Tech Lead – Blockchain for a REMOTE position.

Responsibilities:

● Provide hands-on technical leadership to a team of blockchain engineers
● Define architecture, coding standards, and best practices for smart contract and protocol development
● Review designs and code to ensure quality, security, and maintainability
● Own technical decisions and guide teams through complex problem spaces
● Design and build robust, upgradeable smart contract systems
● Develop tokenization and digital asset platforms with enterprise-grade reliability
● Contribute to the design of stable-coin and on-chain settlement infrastructure
● Ensure contracts are secure, auditable, and scalable
● Architect and support cross-chain functionality across EVM-compatible networks
● Design systems that support multi-chain deployment and interoperability
● Address security, consistency, and reliability challenges in distributed environments
● Champion secure development practices and proactive risk mitigation
● Collaborate with security teams on reviews, audits, and compliance readiness
● Ensure high test coverage and disciplined release processes
● Partner with product and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
● Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
● Act as a technical escalation point and mentor within the organization


Requirements:

● Strong experience in blockchain and smart contract development (Solidity / EVM-based platforms)
● Proven expertise in designing scalable, upgradeable, and secure smart contract systems
● Experience building tokenized asset platforms or digital currency infrastructure
● Exposure to cross-chain or multi-chain architectures
● Strong understanding of blockchain security principles and best practices
● Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring engineering teams
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills (non-negotiable)
● Strong ownership mindset with the ability to make and defend technical decisions
● Experience working with distributed, cross-regional teams
