Position Title: IT Manager

Our client is a leading organization dedicated to quality and innovation within the construction industry.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee our client's technology strategy and operations. The IT Manager will be responsible for managing IT resources, driving system implementations, enhancing cybersecurity measures, and ensuring the seamless operation of their IT infrastructure. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting their continued growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Leadership & Strategy:

• Develop and implement a multiyear technology plan aligned with business goals.
• Identify and lead initiatives to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs through technology.
• Stay informed on industry trends to ensure the organization adapts to evolving technology landscapes.

IT Infrastructure & Operations:

• Oversee the management of IT resources, including operational planning, resource allocation, and project coordination.
• Lead network administration, including servers, desktops, communication systems, and cloud migration efforts.
• Develop and test disaster recovery scenarios to ensure business continuity.
• Implement proactive monitoring and maintenance for all IT systems, including hardware and software.

System Implementations & Enhancements:

• Lead and manage software implementations, deployments, and training initiatives.
• Oversee ERP system upgrades and implementation of new and existing modules.
• Recommend and implement software improvements and upgrades to optimize performance.

Technical Support & Security:

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, VoIP devices, VPNs, and mobile devices.
• Ensure advanced cybersecurity measures and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage system security and data integrity across the organization.

Project Management:

• Lead IT-related company initiatives, including project planning and process management.
• Oversee the execution of technology projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience in an IT operations role, preferably with a focus on project management. They should possess strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate multiple projects, influence peers and non-direct reports, and ensure timely delivery. A solid background in system integrations, upgrades, testing, and network operations is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to take ownership, show urgency, and drive operational success. Experience supporting client applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and SonicWall Firewall is required, as well as a proven track record of managing IT metrics and technology vendor relationships. The candidate should have excellent negotiation and presentation skills and a strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices for both on-premise and cloud-based storage solutions.
