About Our Client

Our client is a well-established and reputable organization in the insurance industry, committed to delivering reliable and client-focused services. With a professional head office environment and a strong emphasis on operational efficiency, the organization values accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork.

This is a short-term, in-office contract opportunity (approximately 4–6 weeks), ideal for an HR professional with hands-on HRIS experience who can contribute immediately.

  • Location: Burnaby, Transit accessible with free employee parking
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM
  • Work Arrangement: Fully in-office (5 days per week)
  • Pay Rate: $20 per hour
  • Position Title: HRIS Assistant
  • Start Date: ASAP (For 4 to 6 weeks)

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Upload and manage employee documentation within the HRIS system
  • Scan, digitize, and accurately file HR records
  • Maintain and update employee files to ensure compliance and data integrity
  • Perform high-volume data entry with strong attention to detail
  • Support document organization and electronic file management
  • Assist with general HR administrative tasks as required
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information
  • Work closely with the HR team to meet project timelines

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in an HR office environment
  • Must have hands-on experience using Bamboo HR platform
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel
  • Experience uploading, organizing, and managing digital documents
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
