Job Description

Our well-established & growing client is looking for an experienced & self-motivated Bilingual (EN/FR) Human Resources Director.

**Please note this is a 5-day on-site opportunity based out of Mississauga**

  • Oversee all areas of Human Resources on both a strategic & operational level inclusive of strategic planning, change management, succession planning, compensation & benefits, L&D, etc.
  • Support business leaders to develop people strategies and ensure they are aligned with business objectives
  • Manage all complex employee relations issues inclusive of disciplinary, grievance, stress & mental health, redundancies and dismissals
  • Partner with Senior Leaders with regard to people planning, headcount forecasting, and budget processing
  • Manage & support Human Resources team with day-to-day operations and general administration, as needed
  • Leadership coaching & counselling
  • Be a subject matter expert within the area of Human Resources and stay up-to-date on industry standards, policies, and trends

Skills & Knowledge
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
  • Bilingual English/French is a must
  • Comprehensive understanding of managing the full employee lifecycle, performance management, organizational design & succession planning, specifically in dynamic & fast-paced environments
  • Dynamic & proactive, self-starter who is very comfortable supporting HR strategy just as much as day-to-day activities
  • Previous experience working within unionized environments
  • CHRP/CHRL would be an asset
