About Our Client:

This manufacturing company located in Vaughan, Ontario is looking for a full time permanent Human Resources Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, conducting background checks, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new hires.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate new employee orientations and ensure all onboarding process are complete.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Employee Relations and Communication: Address employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures and assist with resolving any issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Training and Development: Coordinate training sessions and workshops to support employee development.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the HR department, including maintaining employee records, handling social events and handling HR-related inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Coordinator.
  • Knowledge and interaction with third party payroll vendors (ADP, Pivotal).
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Resolve issues with a win-win perspective.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
