About Our Client

Our client, located in Vaughan is hiring a Health & Safety Specialist on a permanent basis.

  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs to ensure compliance with Ontario regulations and industry standards
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct site inspections and audits
  • Lead incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Facilitate safety training sessions
  • Maintain compliance documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and regulatory bodies
  • Key role in promoting safety culture and risk mitigation across projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
    Professional certification in health and safety (e.g., CRSP, CHSC) preferred
  • 8-10 years of health and safety management experience
  • Knowledge of Ontario OHSA and Construction Projects Regulation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
