Head of Sales – Fully Remote (Leading Canada, US & Latin America) – OPEN TO CANADA AND US (EASTERN & CENTRAL TIMEZONES)

Our top client in mid-sized Global Technology company is looking for a Head of Sales (Canada, US & Latin America) IDEALLY leading a team in SELLING to Telecommunications sector. With a focus on their global sales, driving revenue growth through new business acquisition and strong account management. Managing a team of six employees, you will lead by example, ensuring accurate forecasting, consistent target achievement, and expansion of existing accounts. This position is key to advancing our clients commercial strategy and improving profitability.

This organization a healthy compensation package: Fully remote, Base, Commissions 50/50, incentive bonus plan, vacation, benefits day 1 etc!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the company’s sales strategy across all territories
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities; manage key customer relationships
  • Develop sales plans and forecasts; track performance and adjust tactics as needed
  • Maintain deep market awareness including competitive trends and customer needs
  • Ensure strong team accountability and performance across sales functions
  • Lead contract negotiations and engagement with procurement teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver on customer expectations and solutions
  • Drive partner relationships to support lead and revenue generation

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years in software or carrier sales, ideally selling into the telecommunications sector
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time (1-2 a month throughout U.S, Canada, Latin America, South America).
  • Ideally bare minimum of 4+ years of leadership experience where you’ve taken a sales team to the next level in selling to telecommunications and/or SaaS based tech companies
  • Asset if you are bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Demonstrated success leading commercial strategy and exceeding targets
  • Strong understanding of telecom software products and customer needs
  • Familiarity with forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM systems (Salesforce a plus)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including remote and in-person delivery
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills

Education & Logistics:

  • Nice to have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Must be eligible to work in applicable countries
