As a result, we have an immediate opening for 1-2 HR Business Partners to help drive the employee experience.
We have an immediate need for a Bilingual HR Business Partner who can support the Manager – HR and TA to bring the team to new heights. Working within a larger team, the HR Business Partner will be relied upon to provide guidance and advise to the employees and managers across the organization. You will bring your expertise to a complex HR function and focus on helping to create an outstanding employee experience through the delivery of targeted HR programs, such as DEI engagement, compensation & total rewards and talent management. You will help support the management team by guiding them through performance management issues and helping with employee relations. The HR Business Partner will provide guidance throughout the employee life cycle, starting with onboarding and ending with offboarding, and all talent management in between. You will collaborate with the talent acquisition team to ensure requirements are understood and talent evaluated for the internal client groups. Working with the HR Analyst, you will be part of the compensation management and evaluation programs and provide insight into performance for compensation reviews. The HR Business Partner will play a key role in the annual HR budget process and work in step with the finance team to ensure salaries are appropriately budgeted and be a key player in ensuring HR documentation is properly in place. Promotions, transfer letters, performance plans, compensation adjustments, organizational chart design and HR communications will all be generated through the HR business partnership channels. This role will require someone savvy with HRIS systems and understands the importance of supporting the talent acquisition team to ensure our client has constant access and retention plans for top talent.
The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in business or human resources and combine it with a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, showing progression from an HR Coordinator to an HR Generalist role. You will be looking forward to and ready to elevate your career to the HR Business Partner role. Your understanding and proficiency with HRIS systems will be required and strong Excel skills will be leveraged. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You pride yourself on rolling up your sleeves to get into the weeds but maintain an eye on the big picture. You are solutions oriented and results driven and know how to meet tight deadlines. This role will require someone who can adapt to various personalities to deal with different client groups and knows how to build and nurture trust & relationships with their business groups by using sound judgement and demonstrating exceptional and timely communication. A high level of professional discretion will be required and preservation of confidential information imperative. The successful candidate will demonstrate how they have developed and implemented HR programs and policies successfully and can show they have expertise to support the HR planning, recruitment, performance management and the professional development / training requirements. An HR professional who has a financial mind to be able to support the HR Analyst with compensation or total rewards and help with the preparation and reconciliation of the annual HR budget would be highly desirable. Communication in English & French would be considered an asset. We are looking for someone who can bring the qualitative side to HR.
