About Our Client

Our client is a private family based in West Vancouver seeking a reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain their residence. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in creating a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment.

The ideal candidate is trustworthy, proactive, and enjoys working in a private household. A genuine love for animals is essential, as the role includes caring for the family's dogs. The household is looking for someone dependable who can ensure the home remains well maintained while providing exceptional day-to-day housekeeping support.

This position offers flexibility and can be either live-in or live-out, depending on the successful candidate's preference and suitability. Candidates of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Location: West Vancouver, BC
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Compensation: $2,000 – $4,000 per month (based on experience)
Schedule: Flexible (to be discussed with the successful candidate)
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the home.
• Manage laundry, ironing, changing bed linens, and organizing wardrobes.
• Keep the home tidy, organized, and well-maintained.
• Provide daily care for the family's dogs, including feeding, walking, and ensuring their general well-being.
• Monitor household supplies and communicate when replenishment is needed.
• Take initiative in maintaining a welcoming, organized, and efficient home environment.
• Work independently while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the household at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a private residence, hotel, or similar environment is preferred.
• Must genuinely enjoy working with dogs and be comfortable providing daily pet care.
• Trustworthy, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
• Professional, discreet, and respectful of confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills in English are preferred. Additional languages are considered an asset but are not required.
• Live-in or live-out candidates will be considered.
• Reliable transportation is an asset; public transit is available nearby.
