About our Client

Our client, an established hotel based in Dease Lake Northern BC is looking for a Hotel Manager on a temp to permanent basis. This is a full-time position, for people who love Nature and the Outdoors and are looking for a change in scenery. Housing, and assistance with relocation costs are provided. The hourly rate for this position is $26.00 to $38.00 depending on experience.


  • Oversee hotel operations, housekeeping and front desk staff, infrastructure, and property
  • Will be back up to the front desk with incoming calls
  • Help establish and maintain workplace policies
  • Ensure high standards of hospitality and guest experience
  • Oversee payables and accounts
  • Work with contractors to maintain hotel infrastructure


  • A minimum of 2-3 years of leadership experience in hospitality or related fields
  • Ability to lead organizational change and build strong relationships with staff and local stakeholders
  • Strong foundation in business administration or hospitality management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very Organized, Strong analytical and teamwork skills
  • Familiar with basic accounting
  • Proficiency with technology and software and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Must be ok with living in remote location with limited amenities
