About Our Client

Our client is a North American leader in the consumer services space with a growing portfolio of trusted brands. They are currently seeking a Growth Marketing Specialist (Contract) to support performance-driven digital acquisition campaigns, with a strong focus on paid media and affiliate marketing.

This is a contract position ideal for a data-driven digital marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with internal teams and agency partners to scale and optimize efforts across paid media, affiliate channels, and supporting digital programs.

This role is fully remote and open to qualified candidates based in Canada or the U.S., provided they are available to work Eastern or Central Time Zone hours.


Responsibilities:

Paid Media Execution

  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital ad campaigns across search, social, and display (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube)
  • Manage budgets, agency partners, and performance pacing across platforms
  • Oversee creative testing, A/B experimentation, and campaign briefs in collaboration with internal teams
  • Monitor key metrics (ROAS, CPA, CTR) and provide optimization recommendations

Affiliate Channel Management

  • Support the growth and day-to-day operations of affiliate and aggregator channels
  • Collaborate with affiliate partners to optimize performance and expand reach
  • Coordinate creatives, offers, and promotional calendars while ensuring brand compliance

Performance Reporting & Insights

  • Analyze campaign performance across paid and affiliate channels using tools such as GA4, Looker Studio, and Excel
  • Share findings with internal stakeholders to support ongoing strategy and execution improvements
  • Ensure accurate tagging and tracking through UTM parameters and coordination with analytics teams

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams (brand, strategy, analytics, compliance) and external partners (agencies, platforms)
  • Assist with routing assets, launching campaigns, and ensuring smooth execution across channels
  • Bonus exposure to adjacent digital channels including email, SEO, and cross-channel performance marketing is an asset


Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in paid media and/or affiliate marketing
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and affiliate platforms (e.g., Rakuten, CJ Affiliate, Impact.com)
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills; comfortable using Excel, GA4, Looker Studio
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and UTM tracking
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; highly proactive and detail-oriented
  • Experience in ecommerce, DTC, pet care, or consumer services is an asset
