Our client is a fast-paced food processing facility in Vancouver, specializing in meat products. They are looking for Warehouse Workers / Forklift Operators to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The facility relies on a team-oriented environment to support warehouse and production operations, with a strong focus on efficiency, safety, and reliability. The workplace operates inside a cooler and freezer, requiring candidates to be comfortable working in cold conditions.
Pay Rate: $21 to $22 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Certification Required: Class 1 Forklift – Stand-up Counterbalance Electric Forklift
Shift: 5:00 PM to ~2:30/3:00 AM (Sunday to Thursday)
Operate a Class 1 stand-up counterbalance electric forklift safely and efficiently in cooler and freezer environments
Assist with general warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, packing, and organizing products
Support daily workflow to ensure production and shipping schedules are met
Follow all safety protocols and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment
Collaborate effectively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors
Perform additional warehouse-related tasks as needed to support day-to-day operations
Valid Class 1 forklift certification (stand-up counterbalance electric) with proven operating experience
Ability to work in cold environments and tolerate freezer conditions
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
Flexibility to work night shifts, weekdays, and weekends
Immediate availability to start
Freezer jackets and gloves are provided on-site
Maximum freezer exposure temperature: -20°C
