About our Client

Our client is a not-for-profit organization that develops, manages, and improves systems to recover and recycle used items and packaging. They are currently looking for an OFA (Occupational First Aid) level 1 to join their small Quality Assurance team asap in New Westminster. The shifts run from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. This role is perfect for someone with Production or Warehouse experience looking to start a rewarding position immediately. Hurry, this one will go fast - Apply today!

The hourly rate is $19 to $21

Responsibilities

  • Sorting plastic materials using machinery
  • Putting labels on products
  • Loading and delivering materials when needed
  • Carrying out responsibilities identified in the company's Quality Management System
  • Cleaning the plant and removing trash and recycling materials daily
  • Working under the company's safety policy and accident prevention programs
  • Reviewing work areas for potential issues that could result in losses
  • Performing other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have OFA Level 1 certificate
  • At least 1 year of experience in the production line or a similar role
  • Able to lift heavy objects and operate machinery
  • Hard-working and reliable
  • Positive attitude and a team player
  • Ability to work long hours standing
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
