About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a professional Fund Accountant with relative fund accounting experience and a background working with real estate and asset management entities.

Responsibilities

Review quarterly documents for funds and separate accounts
Oversee all funding calls and distributions
Approve advances to developers are valid and properly filed
Organize schedules for management reports and review management report and financial information
Organize project returns and support with financial reporting
Address investor queries in a timely manner
Work with the Investment Team regarding new and current investments
Participate in special projects including system upgrades and investor requests

Qualifications

CPA Designation or working towards a CPA designation (ideal)
Required 1-2 years of fund accounting experience
Advanced knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and ASPE accounting (required)
Detail oriented, professional and organized
Strong communication skills- both oral and written
