Job Description

Position Title: Full Stack Developer (3 Month Contract)
Location: Ottawa, ON
Work Model: Remote (Canada)

Our client is a well-established Ottawa-based technology company that has been delivering innovative applications to businesses across North America for many years. They are now seeking a skilled React Developer to join their team on a short-term project.

In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team focused on migrating an existing application to React. This is a great opportunity for a developer with experience in building or rebuilding UI reusable components in React. The application consumes data from a .NET API, so familiarity with refactoring to a separate API layer will be considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Migrate and modernize an existing application to React.
  • Build and/or rebuild reusable UI components in React.
  • Work with APIs, including .NET-based APIs, and contribute to refactoring where needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with a distributed project team.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a React Developer or in a similar front-end development role.
  • Strong background in React and building reusable UI components.
  • Experience working with .NET APIs; familiarity with refactoring API layers is an asset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.
  • Ability to manage workload independently while contributing to team objectives.
