About the Role:

Our client, within the trucking and logistics industry, is seeking a Fleet Manager to join their Montreal office on a permanent basis. As a key member of the the team, this position will be 5 days a week in office and responsible for:

Responsibilities:
• Ensures safe and reliable vehicles are available to meet operational requirements. Conducts fleet evaluations to ensure maintenance standards are met
• Ensures vehicle and drive management systems are effectively utilized
• Manages maintenance to ensure performance and cost focus across the area
• Reviews capital equipment requisitions in line with Corporate guidelines and objectives
• Manages effective utilization of vehicle assets
• Ensures maintenance shops are adequately staffed and mechanics are properly trained

Qualifications:

5+ years of proven experience in a similar role within the transportation and logistics industry
Bilingual; English & French
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Proficiency with MS Office and fleet management software
