Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager for our manufacturing sector team. The FP&A Manager will be crucial in supporting our financial health and strategic goals through detailed financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads.
- Prepare board presentations, executive summaries, and other financial communications.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage the annual sales commission program, including calculations and payroll instructions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial analysis and decision-making.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling.
- Evaluate the financial implications of business strategies and investments.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems.
- Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes.
- Manage a Financial Analyst and delegate tasks effectively.
- Support the CFO and senior management on special projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting with an MBA or CPA required.
- 5+ years in financial planning and analysis, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
- Advanced Excel and financial software skills; experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or Navision is a plus.
- Ability to analyze data from SQL databases.
- Strong communication skills for presenting financial information to senior leaders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
