Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager for our manufacturing sector team. The FP&A Manager will be crucial in supporting our financial health and strategic goals through detailed financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads.
  • Prepare board presentations, executive summaries, and other financial communications.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage the annual sales commission program, including calculations and payroll instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Evaluate the financial implications of business strategies and investments.
  • Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes.
  • Manage a Financial Analyst and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Support the CFO and senior management on special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting with an MBA or CPA required.
  • 5+ years in financial planning and analysis, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and financial software skills; experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central or Navision is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data from SQL databases.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting financial information to senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
