About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a professional Financial Analyst with at least 1 year of progressive work in finance and/or accounting tasks- ideally with an understanding of private funds.
Responsibilities
- Support operations of the fund- treasury and operation functions, managing liquidity and capital transactions
- Manage global portfolio of assets and work with international asset managers
- Support external fund administers to complete financial reports
- Participate in capital events- review operations binders and process of distribution and capital notices
- Help oversee annual audit process
- Create and build strong key stakeholder relationships; banks and investors
- Work on corporate and global platforms regarding reporting tasks
- Complete ad-hoc analysis and presentations on Fund financial
Qualifications
- University degree in Business or Finance
- Completed or working towards completion of recognized professional accounting designation (CPA)
- At least 1 year of progressive work in finance and/or accounting tasks- ideally with an understanding of private funds
- Detail oriented, professional and punctual
- Ability to lead and collaborate with team members
- Self motivated, ambitious and strong problem solver
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office- especially finance platforms like Excel
