About Our Client
We are working with a company in the compliance/supply chain sector. This is a hybrid work environment in the west GTA.

Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for:
  • Supporting and managing full-cycle accounting processes, including generating journal entries, creating account reconciliations, and supporting inquiries to support the financial close.
  • Building support documents for annual audits, and executing against monthly financial control processes (approval flow compliance, journal entry, and monthly task checklists)
  • Supporting monthly financial analysis and key budget inputs as delegated.
  • Supporting Customer-facing activities on a daily basis.
  • Guiding the ongoing improvement to gain process efficiency and internal controls
  • Cross training to support A/P, A/R, payroll during time-off
  • Creating standard and ad-hoc tools
  • Improving documentation standards
  • Maintaining a strong financial analysis foundation by creating forecasts and models
Qualifications
You are a CPA student and have 2+ years of full cycle accounting experience. You are proficient with Excel and are systems savvy.
