What You Get to Do:
- Manage Accounting Reconciliations and Journal Entries
Perform monthly accounting reconciliations and prepare related journal entries for an assigned portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all reporting activities.
- Oversee Business Operations for Client Portfolios
Manage a variety of business functions for the assigned client portfolio, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive service delivery.
- Conduct Variance Analysis and Investigations
Investigate and analyze month-end variances, utilizing financial data and analytics to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
- Prepare Client and Management Reports
Compile and prepare detailed reports and schedules for both client and internal management reporting, delivering insights that inform business decisions.
- Support Administrative Functions
Handle daily and weekly administrative duties, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) data entry, client payment preparations, and processing of customer and vendor invoices, ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely.
- Drive Process Improvements and Efficiencies
Lead and implement initiatives to enhance operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and streamlining workflows to increase productivity.
- Maintain Complex Spreadsheet Models
Build, maintain, and update complex spreadsheet models used for financial analysis, forecasting, and decision-making, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Ad Hoc Projects and Accounting Tasks
Provide support for a variety of ad hoc projects, analytics, and accounting tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role.
- Proficient in using enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- MS Excel - Intermediate user proficiency (pivot tables, v-lookups, graph creation).
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA, CFA, or other relevant certification is preferred but not required.
