About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional looking to broaden their experience across financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, inventory, and accounting in a collaborative manufacturing environment. This role offers exposure to a variety of finance functions and the opportunity to develop new skills while supporting key business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly financial and operational reports to support business performance.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple departments.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and assist with capital expenditure tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor inventory reporting, production data, and cycle count adjustments to support operational accuracy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate reporting issues and provide financial insights.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes and internal controls.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as required.

Qualifications

  • Education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst or full cycle Accounting role, preferably within manufacturing or a product-based environment.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
