Description
- Support the preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Partner with leadership to deliver insightful financial analysis, operational reporting, and key business metrics
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning initiatives
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on reporting efficiency, internal controls, and month-end procedures
- Participate in special projects, ad hoc financial analysis, and cross-functional initiatives as needed
- Support accounting activities related to acquisitions, asset reviews, and financial modeling
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting, audit, or corporate finance/accounting
- CPA designation or progress toward completion is considered an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
- Experience with Yardi is considered an asset
