About Our Client

Our client is seeking a Finance Manager, Product to act as a strategic finance partner to Product and Marketing leadership. This role will own portfolio financial analysis, P&L performance, margin optimization and commercial decision support, helping drive both profitability and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product and Marketing leaders on P&L performance, profitability and strategic decisions.
  • Analyze product/category margins, sales performance and key business drivers.
  • Evaluate marketing ROI and recommend opportunities to optimize investments.
  • Support pricing, portfolio mix, product launches and lifecycle decisions.
  • Lead forecasting, scenario analysis and long-range financial planning.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting, variance analysis and management insights.
  • Translate financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Identify process improvements and provide ad hoc analysis for key business decisions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive commercial finance, FP&A or related experience.
  • Consumer goods, manufacturing or portfolio/brand management experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong P&L, margin analysis, financial modelling and commercial analytics experience.
  • Excellent business partnering and communication skills, with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and experience with SAP/Oracle and Power BI or similar tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; CPA and/or MBA an asset.
