About Our Client:
Our client is seeking a professional Finance Manager with minimum 3+ years progressive experience in an accounting or finance role.
Responsibilities
- Compile monthly financial packages for management and perform analysis/ give feedback
- Assist quarterly forecasting process and showcase any changes/trends to portfolio team
- Oversee three international finance professionals and allocate tasks, review submissions and train materials
- Connect multiple currencies/jurisdictions across platforms
- Review cash flow of business units and process vendor payments
- Follow US sale tax laws and manage filings to local jurisdictions
- Manage reporting tools including dashboards and key spend documents
- Communicate with head office, internal and external auditors regarding interim reviews and year-end audits
- Source efficiencies on current reporting processes and identify improvements
- Perform ad-hoc financial reporting as required
Qualifications
- Business/Finance/Accounting degree (i.e. BBA, Comm. etc.), and completion of an accounting designation (CPA)
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong ability to manage large data sets
- Excellent communication skills- both oral and written
- Detail oriented, organized and analytical
- Background working with Great Plains and SAP BPC accounting software (asset0
