Job Description

Our client tier client in the business services sector is seeking a talented Finance Manager with strong leadership skills. The great opportunity involves implementing and maintaining internal controls, accounting policies, procedures, and systems across the organization. The role encompasses month-end financial reporting, analysis of business unit results, and timely reporting to corporate.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach a team of up to 3 members, overseeing day-to-day finance activities.
  • Manage financial accounting, reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and payroll for the business unit.
  • Conduct efficient monthly financial close and reporting to corporate, addressing inquiries on financial results.
  • Provide financial reporting, analysis, and insights to local management and corporate.
  • Support standardization of accounting policies, procedures, and systems in alignment with corporate during integration.
  • Implement and maintain compliance with internal controls and financial accountability.
  • Monitor financial policies, including delegation of authority.
  • Streamline and automate routine processes and manage external financial audits.

Qualifications:

  • CPA designation from public accounting.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial reporting and transactional processes.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with a focus on financial close activities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, a team player fostering strong business relationships.
  • Audit and controls experience via public accounting or industry.
  • Previous experience in business and finance integrations is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
