Job Description

Our client is a tier 1 company seeking a talented Senior Manager.  Reporting to the VP of FP&A, this role drives financial planning, performance evaluation, and strategic decision-making to support corporate and commercial growth. Responsibilities include leading financial planning and forecasting, identifying risks and cost-saving opportunities, and collaborating with business units to enhance profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead annual and long-term financial planning, including sales analysis, cost/margin assessment, and spending planning.
  • Oversee quarterly forecasting, providing insights into key changes, risks, and opportunities.
  • Manage monthly reporting, analyzing variances, trends, and profitability drivers.
  • Develop P&Ls for new product launches and ROI analyses for trade and marketing investments.
  • Support external audit, M&A, and financing with financial models and analyses.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency in reporting and planning.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to finance staff, ensuring high performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance and FP&A experience, with 4+ years in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Experience in consumer-packaged goods or manufacturing (Cannabis industry experience is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of ERPs (D365 preferred), planning/reporting tools, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data effectively.
  • Proven problem-solving ability, leadership, and collaboration skills.
