Our client, a privately held family office, is seeking a Finance & Operations Associate to support the financial management, bookkeeping, and day-to-day operations of a small, dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on accounting work and diverse operational responsibilities.
Financial (Approx. 75%)
Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple entities, including reconciliations, AP processing, and journal entries.
Maintain investment schedules, supporting documentation, and financial records for accounting and tax purposes.
Assist with reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and audit/tax preparation.
Support system upgrades and ensure accurate, organized digital documentation.
Operations (Approx. 25%)
Oversee general office operations, including supplies, vendor coordination, and maintenance requests.
Manage cloud-based filing systems and ensure consistent documentation.
Support the team with administrative tasks, forms, and special projects.
3–5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration (multi-entity experience an asset).
Proficient with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar) and Excel.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Discreet and professional with confidential information.
Collaborative and proactive, with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” approach.
